Grape picking in Karun vineyards

Karun County is one of the hubs of grapes in Iran’s southwestern province of Khuzestan.

The majority of the grapes produced in Karun is grown in vineyards of Ghazaviyeh-ye Bozorg Village, which lies 22 kilometers away from Ahvaz City.

Each day, each hectare of land in Ghazaviyeh-ye Bozorg produces about 500 kilograms of grapes.

The harvest season has already begun and will continue until mid-summer.
